The Challenge
The Minimal Sewist sought me out to refine their brand & visual identity to attract a more premium clientele. They wanted to elevate their visual presence without compromising its foundational values of quality, tradition, sustainability, and joy.
The Solution
I reimagined the brand and visual identity with a more sophisticated approach, that still pays homage to the artisanal and traditional values of the brand. The updated branding kit features elegant yet welcoming typography, a warm yet bold color palette, and an traditional-inspired logo that conveys craftsmanship and intentionality.



The Minimal Sewist creates children’s heirlooms designed to be cherished for generations—crafted with care, rooted in tradition, and made to last. Beyond its handcrafted pieces, the brand fosters community through in-person sewing workshops and private events, sharing knowledge and creating unforgettable experiences.

‘The’ subtly incorporates a threaded needle, honoring the brand’s origins, while the minimal bow represents craftsmanship and meaningful gifting. The serif logotype, with custom adjustments, balances minimalism and heritage-inspired sophistication. Lastly, 'Handmade Heirlooms' reinforces the brand’s purpose, emphasizing timeless craftsmanship.








Rooted in the Arts and Crafts Movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, this visual identity embraces craftsmanship, natural materials, and timeless design—principles that stood in opposition to mass production. These values align seamlessly with The Minimal Sewist’s mission to create heirlooms with intention.

Custom Illustrations and Iconography


The hand-drawn illustrations and icons seamlessly blend into the brand’s aesthetic, enhancing its organic and artisanal feel. Each element is thoughtfully crafted to reinforce the brand’s dedication to simplicity, craftsmanship, and timeless design.




Packaging played a crucial role in the rebrand, ensuring each heirloom was presented and protected with care. With multiple layers designed for both functionality and aesthetics, every detail was considered—from branded tissue paper to elegant inserts that enhance the unboxing experience. In total, we crafted around 10 unique print materials, each reinforcing the brand’s premium, artisanal feel.
